I didn’t start in events. I built a career in highly regulated industries, spending over 10 years in cannabis working in startup leadership, operations, events, and non-profits.

It was fast, complex, and meaningful work. I helped build businesses from the ground up, managed large-scale projects and events, and spent years focused on systems, regulations, and constant change.

At a certain point, I realized I wanted something different.

The pace, the pressure, and the direction of the work started to feel disconnected from how I actually wanted to spend my time, the shift from activism and small business to big industry gave me big feelings. With everything shifting so quickly, especially with the rise of AI and automation, I found myself asking a simple question: what kind of work do I want to be doing, with real people, in real spaces?

The answer was this.

I’ve spent years designing and running events, 3-day public events on the Boston Common, dozens of fundraisers, even a 2-day workforce symposium at the DCU center. It’s always been the part I looked forward to most. Bringing people together. Creating something physical, visual, and shared. Watching a space transform and seeing people enjoy it in real time.

Blank to Bold Events is built around that shift.

This business is about creating moments that feel intentional, elevated, and personal. It’s about stepping away from screens and into something tangible. Something people can experience together.

Every event is different. Every setup is designed with purpose. And the goal is always the same: to take a space that feels ordinary and turn it into something people remember. Something that creates at least one moment of joy.
